The UK Blue Ray Players come from the very popular game console Sony Play Station 3 and is a higher spec version of the DVD player, with sharper picture detail. The quality of the picture from a Blu Ray player is far better that any HD television programmes.

For those that already have a HD TV and want to watch outstanding picture detail then a Blu Ray Player is for you, like DVDs, there are numerous Blu Ray Players out there but, they all have one thing in common... quality viewing.

The good thing about Blu Ray is you can still play your DVDs on them so if you have lots of DVDs in your collection you won’t have to worry about them becoming obsolete. But saying that, research indicates that by 2012 we will be buying more Blu Ray Discs.

Although the future sales in the UK of Blu Ray players is breath taking the downside is they’re still part of PS3 consoles and are not yet out there on their own, this will eventually change but not in the near future.
