There are four types of cookers on the market today; single gas cooker, double gas cooker, single electric cooker and double electric cooker. The most popular cookers are the electric ones, as these far out sell the gas version.

Single Electric Cookers
The single electric cooker is ideal if space in your kitchen is at a premium. Electric cookers are great at keeping a constant temperature throughout the cooker. This slim line cooker won’t take up very much room and is usually very cheap to buy. The only problem is the built in grill which hinders the cooking options.

Double Electric Cookers
The double cooker is bigger than single ones and has two ovens; they will also need a lot more space than the single cookers. Like all electrical cookers they are easy to maintain and will carry a constant temperature plus they will have more options than the single version.

Single Gas Cookers
If you prefer to use gas and space in your home is at a premium then the single gas cooker is ideal for you. This slim line gas cooker will not only fit in to most spaces it will also be cheaper to run than its electrical counterpart, the only down side is gas cookers are not as good as the electrical one at keeping a constant temperature plus you will need a registered gas fitter in to fit you cooker.

Double Gas Cookers
If you prefer to cook with gas and you have plenty of room the double gas cooker is for you. The double cooker will give you the luxury of cooking more food at once.
